A seamless Unibody Structure of a C-Pillar for vehicles
A seamless unibody structure of C-pillar for vehicles is envisaged. The seamless unibody structure has an operative top end and an operative bottom end, and is defined by a C-pillar inner, a C-pillar extension portion and a wheel house inner. The C-pillar inner extends from the operative top end. The C-pillar extension portion extends integrally from the C-pillar inner, and the wheel house inner extends integrally from the C-pillar extension portion.
VEHICLE FRAME STRUCTURAL MEMBER ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A vehicle frame structural member assembly method includes an elongated frame member and a reinforcement member. The reinforcement member is complementarily arranged adjacent the elongated frame member.
AUTOMATIC SLIDING ROOF RAIL SYSTEM
A system for providing storage on a vehicle roof is provided. The system comprises at least one partially hollow pillar for supporting the vehicle roof, a rail adapted to being raised and lowered relative to the vehicle roof between a deployed position for receiving cargo and a non-deployed position. An actuator is positioned at least partially along or within the at least one pillar for moving the rail relative to the roof. The actuator may comprise a pinion and a rack providing support for the rail. One or more supports may be connected to the rail for sliding as the rail is raised and lowered, including an active support for raising and lowering the rail in response to actuation. One or more passive supports for the rail may be slidably received in different pillars from the active support.

Vehicle
A vehicle includes a vehicle body including: an elongated frame made of a first material and extending along a door opening; and an elongated rail made of a second material having a linear expansion coefficient different from that of the first material, the rail covering the frame and extending along the frame, the rail being configured to abut with a weather strip when a door closes the door opening. The rail is fixed to the frame at a plurality of fixation parts that includes: a first fixation part provided in an intermediate part of the rail in the longitudinal direction of the rail; and second fixation parts provided, respectively, in opposite end parts of the rail in its longitudinal direction. In the longitudinal direction of the rail, backlash widths at the second fixation parts are larger than a backlash width at the first fixation part.
OFF-ROAD VEHICLE
The present disclosure relates to a recessed roof panel (100) for a vehicle, the recessed roof panel comprising a housing 101) with a basin (102) and a lip portion (104) at least partly surrounding the basin, wherein the housing is configured such that, in use, the basin (102) extends towards an interior of a vehicle when the lip portion (102) abuts against an exterior surface of a vehicle roof.
