Lightweight plastic container and preform
A plastic container is provided that includes a hollow body portion including a lower supporting base portion; a sidewall portion extending upwardly from the base portion; and a neck portion extending upwardly from the sidewall portion. The neck portion includes a support flange having an upper and lower surface, at least one thread, and a dispensing opening at the top of the neck portion. In embodiments, a closure may be provided to form an assembly. In embodiments, the container may be comprised of PET, the weight of the neck portion from the lower surface of the support flange to a top of the dispensing opening may be 3.0 grams or less, and/or the vertical distance from the top of the dispensing opening to the lower surface of the support flange may be 0.580 inches or less. A preform and method for making a container are also disclosed.

Collapsible Container
A container including a plurality of material bands each having a thickness that is less than adjacent areas of the container, the plurality of material bands extending along a base and a body of the container. The plurality of material bands are configured as folding points of the container. The container is configured to collapse along the plurality of material bands such that at least two dimensions of the container are 5 cm or greater. The base is configured to collapse along the plurality of material bands to have a generally flat body and a generally flat base that is 1.4 times wider than a pre-collapsed diameter of the base.

Fuel can with water-separating member
The fuel can with water-separating member comprises a fuel can and a water-separating member. The fuel can may be a container for a liquid fuel. The water-separating member may be a non-planar, internal divider that creates a fuel chamber above the water-separating member and a water chamber below the water-separating member. Water may separate from the liquid fuel because the liquid fuel and the water are immiscible. The liquid fuel and the water may separate into a fuel layer on top and a water layer under the fuel layer. The water layer may lie entirely within the water chamber beneath the water-separating member such that the water is trapped behind the water-separating member when the fuel can is tilted to pour the liquid fuel.
Blow molding method, blow molding mold, and blow molding apparatus
A blow mold method for a double-walled container, including: blowing in which an intermediate molded article is molded by stretch blowing a preform housed in a die; and pressing in which the intermediate molded article is pressed inside the die and a double-walled container is molded. During the pressing, an internal floor-corresponding section is pressed such that internal wall-corresponding section is inverted as far as the inside of an outer wall-corresponding section, in a state in which heat retention is maintained such that the internal wall-corresponding section can be inverted as far as the inside of the outer wall-corresponding section.
BOTTLE WITH SEPARABLE PORTIONS
A bottle can include an upper portion having a first coupling section and a lower portion having a second coupling section. The first coupling section can be configured to be removably coupled with the second coupling section for removably coupling the upper and lower portions of the bottle with one another. One of the coupling sections can include a first groove and the other one of the coupling sections can include a tongue. When the upper and lower portions of the bottle are coupled with one another, the groove engages the tongue and a seal sealingly engages one or more sealing surfaces of the upper and lower portions of the bottle.
