Vertical gas diffusing device
An assembly for diffusing gas from a first slurry having an open-bottomed housing having an opening for conveying a second slurry from inside of the housing to outside of the housing. The assembly includes one or more intake conduits extending through an upper mid-portion of the housing for receiving the first slurry, and a gas diffusing channel formed in the housing for conveying diffused gas from the liquid from inside of the housing to outside of the housing. The assembly includes a dumping assembly having a dump valve used to convey fluid from an upper layer of fluid located inside of the housing to outside of the housing. The assembly may include a recirculation pump and a suction conduit coupled to the pump for pumping fluid (dyed fluid) from inside of the housing. The assembly is configured to be partially submerged in liquid, such as in a tank.
Waste water treatment plant
The invention relates to a waste water treatment plant including at least a multi-step water treatment reactor arranged for receiving influent waste water, for carrying out at least a biological step and a sedimentation step and for providing effluent pure water, by means of an effluent weir. The wastewater treatment plant further includes means for increasing the sedimentation velocity, and means for hindering floating elements to get into the effluent weir.
METHOD FOR TREATING A WASTEWATER EFFLUENT IN A SEQUENCING BATCH REACTOR (SBR) HAVING A CONSTANT LEVEL AND CONTROLLED RECOVERY
An installation for treating a wastewater effluent in a constant-level sequencing batch reactor (SBR), the SBR includes a chamber that is able to contain a mixture of wastewater and sludge comprising different levels, each level being defined by a concentration and/or a density of sludge, a sludge bed situated at the bottom of the chamber, a device for supplying the SBR with a volume of effluent to be treated close to the bottom of the chamber, in the sludge bed, preferably via a distribution network covering the bottom of the chamber, means for recovering a clarified fraction of the contents of the chamber, the SBR being able to implement a treatment method comprising a biological treatment reaction sequence comprising at least a step of aerating the contents of the chamber, during which the level of the surface of the mixture rises, a decanting step, during which sludge is deposited on the bottom of the chamber and the contents of the chamber are clarified close to the surface thereof, a step of recovering the clarified fraction of the contents of the chamber, the recovery step and supply step taking place simultaneously, so as to keep the level of the contents of the chamber substantially constant during the recovery step and supply step, the installation also comprising control means and recovery means.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR LIQUID-ORGANIC PARTICLE SEPARATION
The present invention provides a method and system for separating a liquid from organic particles. The mixer-settler extraction cell includes a flow distributor. The flow distributor comprises a chevron-shaped series of welded plates, which separates the incoming flow stream of liquid and organic particles from one another.
Simultaneous phase operated anaerobic sequential batch reactor
Process for treating an aqueous fluid whereby a biogas is produced in an installation comprising a bioreactor and a separate container, the process comprising (i) a bioreactor feeding stage; (ii) a batch reaction stage, wherein biogas is formed and formed biogas is temporarily stored in the separate container, and at least one further stage (iii) comprising a settling stage and/or an aqueous fluid effluent discharge stage, wherein the biogas stored in the separate container is used to reduce fluctuations in a biogas exit flow from the installation. An installation for carrying out the process and the use thereof.
Flow back separation system with dispersing device
A flow back system for separating solids from a slurry recovered from a hydrocarbon well. The system includes a V-shaped tank with a first series of baffles configured to cause the settling of solids that are moved by a shaftless auger to a conduit fluidly connected to a dispersing device mounted over or adjacent to a shaker such as a linear shaker. The shaker receives and processes the output of the dispersing device and dewaters solids. The underflow of the shaker is recirculated through the tank.
Liquid quality system with drag-inducing portions
The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a system for removing particulates from liquid. The system may comprise a base, a tubular body extending upwardly from the base, a liquid quality device located above the base, a sump region located between the base and the liquid quality device, and a plurality of drag-inducing portions positioned in the sump region and projecting inwardly toward a central axis of the sump region. The tubular body may comprise an inlet and an outlet. The plurality of drag-inducing portions may comprise a first set of drag-inducing portions, a second set of drag-inducing portions, a third set of drag-inducing portions, and a fourth set of drag-inducing portions. The first, second, third, and fourth sets of drag-inducing portions may be positioned equidistant from each other and at a same height around a perimeter of the sump region.

Round baffle box water treatment system with at least one sidewall baffle
Vertically oriented cylindrical vaults, boxes, systems, and methods of treatment systems to capture pollutants from storm water runoff and prevent the conveyance of these pollutants from entering a receiving water body or landscape area, which is designed to be a part of a local permanent storm water drainage infrastructure. A flow deflector can include a flow spreader for splitting an incoming flow into two flow paths that interact with high profile vertical baffle(s), and with low profile vertical baffles, and angled low profile vertical baffles that extend above downwardly inclined surfaces of a horizontal deflector having an opening for allowing debris to fall. Treated water can pass out of an outflow pipe on an opposite side of the cylindrical vault. A bottom open skimmer or a flow restrictive skimmer or a hydro-variant skimmer can be used in front of the output flow port. A hydro slide system can be used to push debris toward the middle of a sloped floor for easier removal through access points in the vault lid. The input flow port can be spaced approximately 90 degrees from the output port. And the input port and the output port can be on the same sides of the cylindrical vault.
