The stretchable film includes a first region and a second region, which are divided according to curvatures of an object, and at least one of different patterns and different disposed structures are arranged in each of the first region and the second region.
Method of pouring polyisocyanurate foam directly onto a facer to improve cell orientation and density stratification
A method of forming a polyisocyanurate foam board includes providing a polyol and adding an isocyanate to the polyol to form a polyisocyanurate foam. A first inner surface of a first facer material is treated with a first flow of hydroxyl containing molecules. A second inner surface of a second facer material is treated with a second flow of hydroxyl containing molecules. The polyisocyanurate foam is coupled to the first treated inner surface and the second treated inner surface such that the polyisocyanurate is sandwiched between the first facer material and the second facer material, thereby exposing opposing outer surfaces of the polyisocyanurate foam to the hydroxyl containing molecules. A density of a medial portion of the polyisocyanurate foam is greater than a density of the polyisocyanurate at the opposing outer surfaces.
Flow body for a vehicle with a compressible skin
A flow body for a vehicle having a flow surface, as well as a skin system attached to the flow surface is proposed. The skin system has a top layer and a foam arrangement positioned between the flow surface and the top layer, wherein the top layer includes an elastic, surface-like material, wherein the foam arrangement includes a first layer of an elastic, compressible open cell foam, wherein the foam arrangement is bonded to the top layer. The skin system has a static shape in an unloaded state, in which the shape defines an outer surface geometry that directly follows the geometry of the respective flow surface, and the skin system has a deflected shape when the flow body is subjected to turbulent air flow. The deflected shape at least temporarily compresses the foam arrangement.
Absorbent sheet for pets
the absorbent sheet for pets which can suppress the outflow of a functional material is provided. An absorbent sheet (10) for pets includes a topsheet (12), a backsheet (14), an absorber (20) provided between the topsheet and the backsheet, a functional (40) material, and a recess (50)that is recessed in a direction from the topsheet toward the backsheet. The functional material (40) is provided at a position of the recess (50).
Web of impregnated fibrous material, production method thereof and use of same for the production of three-dimensional composite parts
A web of impregnated fibrous material(s) including N individual tapes of fibrous material(s) stacked and/or joined in relation to one another, in which said N tapes adhere to each other and can overlap at least partially. The tapes of fibrous material(s) include continuous fibers impregnated with at least one thermoplastic polymer, and optionally a chain extender. The web has a surface, in cross-section perpendicular to the axis of the fibers, S, that is substantially equal to the sum of the surface, in cross-section perpendicular to the axis of the fibers, of each initial individual tape, denoted S.sub.th, S.sub.th being equal to N×l×Ep, wherein l represents the average width of a tape and Ep represents the average thickness of a tape, N being between 2 and 2000, and the average thickness of each individual tape being less than or equal to 150 μm.
LAMINATE STRUCTURE
A laminate structure is disclosed including a fibre laminate impregnated with a laminate matrix material, and a veil of carbon nanotubes impregnated with a veil matrix material. The laminate matrix material and the veil matrix material doped with carbon particles. The veil provides lightning strike protection. The structure is manufactured by co-curing the laminate matrix material and the veil matrix material to bond the veil of carbon nanotubes to the fibre laminate.
Glass fiber-reinforced polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foam insulation board
External thermal insulation composite systems described herein include a concrete or masonry wall and a thermal insulation board on the concrete or masonry wall. The thermal insulation board includes a polyurethane/polyisocyanurate foam having a density of less than 70 kg/m.sup.3 according to ASTM D 1622. Methods of preparing the external thermal insulation composite systems and the thermal insulation boards are also described.

The invention further relates to the use as well as the manufacture of such tubes. Furthermore, the invention relates to composite materials, their use for thermal insulation, as well as their manufacture.
HEAT-REFLECTING MEMBER, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GLASS MEMBER HAVING HEAT-REFLECTING LAYER INCLUDED THEREIN
Provided is a heat reflective member, which is prevented from braking even in a high-temperature environment. It generates no dust in use, and can be washed with a chemical liquid. The heat reflective member has a laminated structure in which quartz glass layers are formed on an upper surface and a lower surface of a siliceous sintered powder layer. The heat reflective member includes: an impermeable layer which is formed at a portion of the siliceous sintered powder layer at an end portion of the heat reflective member, which has a thickness at least larger than half of a thickness of the siliceous sintered powder layer, and through which a gas or a liquid is prevented from penetrating; and a buffer layer which is formed between the impermeable layer and the siliceous sintered powder layer, and which changes in density from the impermeable layer toward the sintered powder layer.
