APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CLEANING AND RECOVERING PAINT IN PAINTING PLANTS
A paint recovery and cleaning trolley for an apparatus for applying paint provided with a belt for conveying pieces to be painted, including: a paint recovery subunit, in its turn including: a reverse roller in contact with the lower return section of said conveying belt, which recovers paint from the belt, a doctor blade tangentially placed with respect to said reverse roller for all its length, to allow the accumulation of a solvent and wetting said reverse roller; a doctor blade scraping the reverse roller so recovering paint; a doctor blade scraping the lower return section of said conveying belt, at least one nozzle for supplying a solvent compatible with the paint in use, a collecting hopper collecting said solvent, placed under said reverse roller, a paint collecting reservoir, a cleaning subunit, in its turn including: a reverse roller in contact with the lower return section of the conveying belt, a doctor blade tangentially placed with respect to said reverse roller for all its length to allow the accumulation of a solvent and wetting said reverse roller, a doctor blade scraping the lower return section of said conveying belt, at least a nozzle for supplying a solvent, a collecting hopper collecting said solvent, placed under said reverse roller of the cleaning subunit, a solvent collecting reservoir,
wherein in each subunit the respective components reverse roller, doctor blades and return section of the conveying belt form a closed chamber having the shape of a triangular prism, of which said components represent the rectangular faces, said chamber containing said solvent, which slowly drips from the triangular faces of said chamber into a respective collecting hopper.
Belt conveyor capable of conveying oilseed products
A belt and a belt conveyor are provided for transporting particulate material and especially oilseeds up the belt conveyor. The belt conveyor can include an intake end having a hopper, a discharge end, a body extending between the intake end and the discharge end and a belt. The belt travels along a travel path in the belt conveyor; the belt traveling through the hopper, up an upper run in the body to the discharge end, down a return run in the body, and back through the hopper. The belt can have a top surface having pairs of adjacent ridges provided on the top surface, each ridge having a pair of arms extending from a point, in a travel direction of the belt, wherein each pair of adjacent ridges define a v-channel on the top surface of the belt.

Apparatus and method for cleaning a conveyor belt
A cleaning apparatus includes a roller, a conveyor belt and a belt cleaner. The conveyor belt transports food material in a first direction, and the belt cleaner cleans the food material from the conveyor belt as the conveyor belt travels in a second direction, distinct from the first direction. The conveyor belt passes around the roller as the conveyor belt changes from traveling in the first direction to traveling in the second direction. At least a portion of the belt cleaner is located directly below the roller such that food material falling off the conveyor belt when the conveyor belt passes around the roller is caught by the belt cleaner. The belt cleaner includes an enclosure through which the conveyor belt passes and an air nozzle located within the enclosure. The air nozzle directs air onto the underside of the conveyor belt. Preferably, the air nozzle is an air knife, which generates a sheet of air.
