Feed device
A feed device includes: a feed tray configured to accommodate a roll, in which a medium is rolled in a roll shape, rotatably; a housing configured to support the feed tray installable; and a pull-back mechanism configured to pull back the medium unrolled from the roll in a direction orthogonal to a rotation axis of the roll in conjunction with an outward movement of the feed tray from the housing in the direction orthogonal to the rotation axis of the roll.
DOUBLE-COILING-BELT PAPER MONEY TEMPORARY STORAGE DEVICE
A double-tape banknote temporary storage device is provided, which includes a banknote temporary storage reel, a pair of tape withdrawing reel assemblies, a pair of tapes, a pair of tape pressing wheels. The double-tape banknote temporary storage device further includes a planetary gear decelerating motor and a synchronous gear transmission system, and a driving gear is provided on an output shaft of the planetary gear decelerating motor. The synchronous gear transmission system includes a first gear, a first transmission gear set engaged with the driving gear and transmitting power to both of the banknote temporary storage reel and the first tape withdrawing reel assembly simultaneously, and a second transmission gear set connecting the first gear and the second tape withdrawing reel assembly and transmitting power to the second tape withdrawing reel assembly.
Stacking apparatus
There is provided a stacking apparatus capable of stably conveying and stacking sheets without occurrence of damage or buckling of the sheets in the structure of discharging the curled sheets one by one. In regard to each of a plurality of clamp guides which project toward stacking trays from a conveyor to guide sheets S, the projecting position varies in accordance with a size and an amount of stacked sheets on the stack trays. The stacking tray comprises an inclined surface and a curved surface. An upper guide is located to face the inclined surface by a predetermined interval, and the upper guide is located not to face the curved surface or is located to face it by an interval larger than a predetermined interval.
Post-processing apparatus and image forming system
A post-processing apparatus includes a side edge part removing portion that removes a side edge part from a sheet; a side edge part housing portion that houses the removed side edge part and is able to be pulled out from an apparatus body; a guide plate that is inclined in a direction intersecting with a moving direction of the side edge part and guides the removed side edge part along the moving direction to the housing portion; and a second guide plate that is arranged between the housing portion and the guide plate, and is transformable into a first form having substantially mountain-shaped inclined surfaces in which both end portions of the second guide plate along the moving direction are lower than a center portion thereof, and a second form having substantially valley-shaped inclined surfaces in which both the end portions are higher than the center portion.
Media-sheet stacking systems
A media-sheet stacking system (10) for stacking media sheets on a device output tray (OT) comprises a kicker (25) to advance a media sheet along the output tray by pushing a trailing edge of the media sheet as it exits the device, and a movable element (32a) arranged to face the output tray across a space that receives media sheets exiting the device. A drive mechanism (33) is provided to drive the movable element in the direction of advance of the media sheet along the output tray.
Support mechanism for processing unit in sheet processing device
The present invention is to provide a processing unit which can move smoothly to accurate position in a proper posture. The processing unit is provided with a support mechanism that supports a processing unit 26 so as to allow the processing unit 26 to be moved to a sheet processing position (processing tray) 24. The support mechanism includes the processing unit 26 and first and second support portions 50 and 55 that support the processing unit 26. The first and second support portions 50 and 55 apply, to different positions (j and k) of the processing unit 26 which are spaced from each other, a support force Fa acting from below to above (in a direction opposite to a gravity acting direction) and a support force Fb acting from above to below (in a direction same as the gravity acting direction), respectively.
Sheet feeder and image forming apparatus incorporating same
A sheet feeder, which is incorporated in an image forming apparatus, includes an endless attraction belt that is rotatably disposed facing a top surface of a sheet stack, a belt charger to attract an uppermost sheet of the sheet stack, and a sheet separator to press the attraction belt against the sheet stack, bend a contact region to which the uppermost sheet is attracted and contacted to the attraction belt, and separate the uppermost sheet from a subsequent sheet or other sheet of the sheet stack. In this configuration, a curvature of a contact surface of the sheet separator with respect to the attraction belt is changeable.
Supporting a roll of print media
In one example, an elevator for a roll of print media includes rotatable shafts oriented parallel to one another and translatable supports to support a roll of print media. Each support is operatively connected to the shafts such that rotating the shafts in a first direction raises the supports and rotating the shafts in a second direction opposite the first direction lowers the supports.
NEEDLE GRAB
A needle grab for handling workpieces has a bar-shaped longitudinally elongated housing having a longitudinally extending face and first and second longitudinally spaced guides defining respective first and second transverse directions that cross each other. First and second holders are transversely slidable in the first and second guides in the respective directions and carry respective first and second sets of at least three first and second grab needles movable with the respective holders relative to the face between a release position recessed behind the face and a gripping position projecting from the face in the first and second directions. A single servomotor is mounted on the housing and is connected via a gear train to both of the holders for synchronously moving same to displace the first and second sets of needles synchronously in the respective first and second directions.
SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet feeding apparatus includes a sheet storage portion, a sheet supporting member that is liftable, and a damper mechanism including a resistance member and a movable portion movable by abutting against a body of the apparatus. The damper mechanism resists, at least temporarily, relative movement of the movable portion and the sheet storage portion by applying resistive force produced by the resistance member to the movable portion in a case where the sheet storage portion is inserted to the body, and resists, at least temporarily, lowering movement of the sheet supporting member by applying resistive force produced by the resistance member to the sheet supporting portion in a case where the sheet storage portion with the sheet supporting member having been lifted by the lift portion is drawn out of the body.
