Tabletop game
A re-configurable game board set can be used to play a variety of games in a variety of configurations and can be compacted for easy storage or transportation. The game board set can be of a size to easily fit on a tabletop and can use coins or similar tokens as playing pieces. Alternatively, the game board set could be larger to be played with larger playing pieces such as beanbags, balls, or discs. Games can be played with or without launching pads.
TABLE GAME MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, GAME TOKEN, AND INSPECTION APPARATUS
A table game management system according to the present invention includes a camera that images a game token placed on a game table, and a management control device that grasps a type of the game token placed on the game table based on a color of a side face of the game token imaged by the camera.
Board game and method for playing
A board game is provided having a seven-by-seven play area and ten player tokens for each player. Each player's tokens are positioned on the play area in two rows of five along opposing sides of the play area. Players alternate turns, taking up to five orthogonal movements from one playing space to another on each turn, the five movements being allocated across up to five of the player's player tokens. When a player token is orthogonally surrounded on at least three sides by opposing player tokens, that player token is removed from the play area. Play continues until one player has only two player tokens remaining on the play area, at which time the opposing player is declared the winner.
Game board with a play surface that is movable around a fixed game piece and related board game rules
Disclosed is an amusement device having a board or other field and game-pieces movable over said board or field by contestants according to pre-set rules.
Three dimensional letters word game components and game methods of play
A game apparatus and game methods of play that provide mental exercises to increase the level of abstract thinking to create 3-D objects from universally accepted 2-D flat patterns. Since we read and write on 2-D surfaces, the shapes we associate most with a 2-D environment are alphanumeric characters. Combining letters and numbers in a 3-D environment creates challenging exercises for visualizing 3-D shapes. The competitive games involve a series of 3-D manipulative modules. Play of the games involves scoring points for creating and/or discerning words made up of letters recognized from the 3-D manipulative modules. The games are for multiple players and can also be implemented electronically and online.
Game Piece Mold Device
A moldable game token device includes a game token. The game token is formed of a malleable material. The malleable material forms a void extending into the game token when the game token is pierced by an implement. The void is retained in the game token when the implement is removed from the game token.
STRATEGIC GAME, GAME SYSTEM AND GAME METHOD
A strategic game played on a game board with a plurality of spaces using game piece types having different strengths. Two dice control play and movement of the game pieces about the game board. One six-sided die contains four colors corresponding to the players' game pieces and two jokers. A second six-sided die contains four directions and two jokers. Rolls of the two dice control game piece movements about the game board. When one player's higher strength game piece lands on a same space as another player's lower strength game piece, the lower strength game piece is removed from the game. Various action game board spaces allow (i) pieces to move quickly to a different position on the board, (ii) players secure another turn to roll the dice and (iii) removal of pieces or put into jail. Different strength game pieces can move different distances on the game board.
BOARD GAME SIMULATING A BATTLE TO CAPTURE AN ENEMY BASE
One embodiment is directed to a gaming system for allowing players to experience a simulated battle scenario, comprising: a plurality of gamepieces for each of the players comprising a base gamepiece for each player and being configured such that each gamepiece has operational characteristics selected to determine movement and impact upon other gamepieces, as dictated by a multifactorial lookup table; a gameboard; and a points accounting module; wherein when one of the players has a turn, such player is able to make operational decisions regarding the gamepieces controlled by such player based upon interoperability between the multifactorial lookup table, positions of the gamepieces on the gameboard, and an operating points budget provided by the points accounting module for the turn.
Unconventional warfare wargame
A board game for simulating unconventional warfare. The board game of the present invention includes hexagonal territory board pieces, resource production unit markers, and infrastructure markers for representing territory, resource production units, and infrastructure in an unconventional warfare scenario. The infrastructure markers include (1) base markers that can be placed at intersections of the hexagonal pieces, where each base marker allows a player to collect double resources and build military units; (2) population influence markers that can be placed at the intersections, where each population marker allows the player to collect resources and conduct influence attacks on neighboring infrastructure; and (3) military unit markers that can be placed at the intersections, where each military unit markers allows the player to conduct military attacks on the neighboring infrastructure.
FOOTBALL BOARD GAME
A football-style chess game and method for opposed players includes an eight-by-eight checkerboard-style game board having an End Zone at each player end of the board, two sets of game pieces, each set including conventional chess pieces, e.g. a Quarterback (QB), a Fullback (FB), a Running Back (RB), a Wide Receiver/Defensive Back (WR/DB), a Linebacker (LB), and eight Front Line (FL) pieces. A method is also disclosed wherein the chess game is played for a fixed duration of time, and points (dollar values) are awarded to the players. The player having the highest cumulative point total at the end of the game is then declared the winner. A method is also disclosed for adapting the chess game for play electronically, such as through a global network of computers.
