A board game includes a game metric and a game piece. The game piece is usable within the game metric. The game piece includes a game piece body, and a plurality of interchangeable components that are selectively and magnetically coupled to the game piece body. The game can further include a first magnet that is coupled to the game piece body, and a second magnet that is coupled to one of the plurality of interchangeable components. The magnets can be positioned relative to one another such that the first magnet selectively engages the second magnet so that the one of the plurality of interchangeable components can be selectively and magnetically coupled to the game piece body.

The present invention comprises a novel way to make checkers pieces easy to handle by people with limited and/or impaired ability to manipulate small and/or smooth objects. It also comprises a unique way to keep checker pieces stacked during play.

An improved tic tac toe game is herein disclosed. The game pieces include X-pieces or O-pieces that are coupled to hollow cylinder pieces, resulting in large pieces that are shaped and sized to easily grip and operate. In use, these game pieces are placed over pegs the project upwardly from a game board base to play tic tac toe.

An apparatus includes a base and a coupling member. A status selector is provided to select a status of the game piece with respect to the gaming area, using an indicator extending from a first side to a second side of the base. A detection system according to the present invention includes a control device that detects fraud conducted on a game table by using the image analysis result obtained by an image analysis device. In addition, each game token used in this detection system has a multilayer structure having plastic layers with a plurality of different colors stacked on each other, with a colored layer being provided at least intermediately, and white layers or light-colored layers (not illustrated, but may be any layers lighter in color than the colored layer) being stacked on two sides of the intermediate colored layer. A flag pin is provided comprising a pin, a flag at the end of the pin, a sleeve positioned around the pin, and a flexible base receiving the tip of the pin therethrough and abutting the bottom of the sleeve. There is provided a system and method for communicating with a first peripheral device, of a plurality of peripheral devices, using a touch-sensitive system that has a processor and a touch surface. According to an exemplary embodiment, a method includes detecting, using the processor, a plurality of touches on the touch surface of the touch-sensitive system that are made by the first peripheral device. The method further includes identifying, using the processor, the first peripheral device based on the plurality of touches on the touch surface of the touch-sensitive system that are made by the first peripheral device. The method additionally includes communicating data, using the processor, to a receptive circuit of the first peripheral device in response to the identifying of the first peripheral device.

The game is played by matching color and/or shape of adjacent game board pieces played within the spaces on a game board. Placement of a game piece on one of the game play affecting spaces can provide a player of that piece with one or more game play affecting actions. Similarly, placing a game piece in a manner that creates one or more specified game piece arrangements can provide a player of that piece with one or more game play affecting actions. A player can acquire and play a special affect game board piece that allows replacement of one or more previously played game board pieces.
