SEC PERFORMANCE ENHANCING CONDITIONING AND STORAGE SOLVENTS CONTAINING LOW LEVELS OF BUFFER AND SALT
This disclosure pertains to performance enhancing conditioning and storage solvents containing low levels of buffer and salt for reproducible and improved size exclusion chromatography (SEC). In some embodiments, the present disclosure pertains to storage solvents for protein-based size exclusion chromatography that comprise water, a water-miscible organic solvent, a phosphate salt, and a neutral salt. In some embodiments, the present disclosure pertains to columns for protein-based size exclusion chromatography that comprise porous particles and such a storage solvent
MERCURY REMOVAL FROM LIQUID HYDROCARBONS BY 1,4-BENZENEDIAMINE ALKYLDIAMINE CROSS-LINKED POLYMERSMERCURY REMOVAL FROM LIQUID HYDROCARBONS BY 1,4-BENZENEDIAMINE ALKYLDIAMINE CROSS-LINKED POLYMERS
The invention is directed to utilization of a series of cross-linked 1,4-benzenediamine-co-alkyldiamine polymers and the use of the polymers to remove mercury from a hydrocarbon in fluid form.
Air filters comprising polymeric sorbents for reactive gases
An air filter including a filter support that supports polymeric sorbent particles. The polymeric sorbent is the reaction product of a divinylbenzene/maleic anhydride precursor polymeric material with a nitrogen-containing compound. The air filter may be used for capturing e.g. reactive gases.
Air Filters Comprising Polymeric Sorbents for Aldehydes
An air filter including a filter support that supports polymeric sorbent particles. The polymeric sorbent particles are the reaction product of a hydrolyzed divinylbenzene/maleic anhydride precursor polymeric material with a nitrogen-containing compound, with the nitrogen-containing compound being ionically attached to the hydrolyzed divinylbenzene/maleic anhydride.
Preparation method for carbon dioxide capture agent, and application thereof
Disclosed are a preparation method of a carbon dioxide capture agent and an application thereof. The method includes: mixing a graphite dispersion, an organic acid solution, a metal salt solution and a silica sol to obtain an organic-inorganic composite gel; standing and aging the organic-inorganic composite gel, drying the same and then carbonizing the same by microwave in a mixed atmosphere of inert gas and sulfur dioxide to obtain an intermediate product; and subjecting the intermediate product to acid washing or alkali washing to obtain a defective carrier, then mixing the defective carrier with an amine substance for ultrasonic treatment and drying to obtain the carbon dioxide capture agent.

Apparatus for removing mercury from hydrocarbons
The invention is directed to utilization of a series of cross-linked 1,4-benzenediamine-co-alkyldiamine polymers and the use of the polymers to remove mercury from a hydrocarbon in fluid form.
Modified metal-organic framework (MOF) compositions, process of making and process of use thereof
This invention relates to modified MOF materials, methods of preparing them and processes using them. A modified MOF of the invention is modified by impregnating a MOF with an inorganic metal salt. The starting MOF contains at least one linker or ligand which contains an aryl amino group as part of its structure. These modified MOFs are able to adsorb either basic or acidic toxic industrial compounds (TIC). The modified MOFs can be used to remove TICs from various gaseous streams such as air.
