Glue gun
A hot melt glue gun includes a charging cylinder mounted to the rear of the gun with chambers for holding solid glue sticks. The cylinder is mounted to the hot melt gun housing via a centered shaft allowing it to revolve circumferentially. The cylinder is mounted in a position on the back of the glue gun so that each chamber when rotated to the top aligns with the glue stick entry port in the back of the glue gun. Each chamber has resilient flanges within the chamber that cause friction when a glue stick is inserted into the chamber, thus lightly securing the glue stick before it is pushed forward into the glue gun port and taken up by the trigger activated forward grip.
Hand-held three-dimensional drawing device
A three-dimensional drawing device can include a housing configured for to be held in user's hand, shaped to allow manipulation of the housing like a pen, and configured to accept a strand of thermoplastic material. The drawing device has a nozzle assembly with an exit nozzle and a motor connected to a gear train that engages the strand such that rotation of the motor causes the feed stock to be extruded out of the exit nozzle to form a three-dimensional object. The motor can be controlled using a variable speed control mechanism or first and second actuators, thereby controlling movement of the strand, for example, to advance or retract the strand relative to the nozzle assembly.

The casing includes a passage and a through-hole. The passage is located in the casing and intercommunicates with the inlet. The through-hole is aligned with the passage in a transverse direction. An activation module includes an activation rod reciprocatingly and movably extending through the through-hole. A micro switch is located adjacent to the activation module and is electrically connected to the motor. The micro switch is configured to be pressed by the activation rod to activate the motor. A hot melt module is mounted in the housing and located adjacent to the outlet.
