Vehicle sensor assembly
An assembly includes a housing defining a chamber and having an air inlet. The assembly includes a blower in the chamber and in fluid communication with the air inlet. The assembly includes a sensor defining a field of view and supported by the housing. The housing has an outlet vent of variable size. The outlet vent is in communication with the blower and aimed across the field of view of the sensor.
CHARGING FACILITY AND CONTROL METHOD OF CHARGING FACILITY
A control device executes a process including a step of determining whether a first state is established, a step of acquiring an operating state of a wiper of a surrounding vehicle when the first state is determined to be established, a step of determining whether rainfall of which rainfall amount is equal to or more than a predetermined amount is predicted, and a step of executing elevating control when the rainfall of which rainfall amount is equal to or more than the predetermined amount is predicted.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING STATE OF VISIBILITY FOR A ROAD OBJECT IN REAL TIME
An apparatus, method and computer program product are provided for determining a state of visibility of a road object, such as a road sign, using vehicle sensor data. For example, the apparatus determines whether one or more sensors of a first vehicle observes a road sign. If the road sign is not observed by the one or more sensors, the apparatus determines whether one or more second vehicles is obscuring the road sign. If the one or more second vehicles is not obscuring the road sign, the apparatus determines whether the road sign is obscured due to a weather condition. If the road sign is obscured due to the weather condition, the apparatus generates a signal indicating that the road sign was obscured due to the weather condition.
WINDOW WIPER ASSEMBLY WITH LATERAL MOTION
A window wiper assembly for cleaning a surface of a vehicle window, which includes a guide rail mountable to a frame member supporting the window, a wiper arm having an elongate body configured with an opening and integrally connecting to a head portion for mounting thereto wheel assemblies capable of traversing interiorly within the guide rail, a glide post having a wheeled portion for slidably interacting with an integrated rail associated with the opening, a wiper blade assembly mounted to a bottom side of the elongate body, and a pivot arm equipped with first and second mount fittings respectively connecting to a shaft of the glide post and an output shaft of a wiper drive motor, whereby rotation of the output shaft aptly acts on the pivot arm to advance lateral movement of the wiper arm along the guide rail with that of the wiper blade assembly to effect entire surface cleaning of the window.

AUTONOMOUS DRIVING CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD THEREOF
An apparatus and a method for controlling an autonomous vehicle depending on weather are provided. The apparatus obtains information including at least one of an image around the autonomous vehicle, sensing information of a Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) of the autonomous vehicle, sensing information of a rain sensor of the autonomous vehicle, an operation state of a windshield wiper of the autonomous vehicle, climate information through vehicle to everything (V2X) communication, an acceleration of the autonomous vehicle, or wheel sensor information of the autonomous vehicle and determines whether the climate state is an inclement weather state, based on the information including the at least one of the image around the autonomous vehicle, the sensing information of the LIDAR, the sensing information of the rain sensor, the operation state of the windshield wiper, the climate information through the V2X communication, the acceleration, or the wheel sensor information.
Hydrophobic coating characterization
A system includes a processor and a memory storing instructions executable by the processor to actuate a component upon determining that a hydrophobic coating of a surface is degraded based on a comparison of a characteristic of a liquid droplet with a threshold value.
VEHICLE, VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A vehicle includes: a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory, the processor being configured to: in a case in which it has been determined that washing of the vehicle is to be carried out, transition a state of the vehicle from a current mode to a vehicle washing mode that stops a power source of the vehicle, stops operation of a first equipment that is provided at the vehicle and that displaces a movable portion of the vehicle, and permits operation of a second equipment that is provided at the vehicle and that is related to comfort within a vehicle cabin of the vehicle.
Washing system with prevention of washer fluid freezing
A method of preventing washer fluid freezing is provided. The method includes performing hose residual washer fluid removal control that removes residual washer fluid of a hose which is a movement path of washer fluid after a spray of the washer fluid by operation of a pump washer fluid device.
