PAINT-SPRAYING DEVICE FOR PRODUCING A PAINT SPRAY JET AND METHOD FOR VENTING A PAINT CONTAINER
A paint-spraying device for generating a paint spray jet, wherein the paint-spraying device comprises a front end and a back end, wherein the front end and the back end are connected to one another such that they can be separated by virtue of the back end and the front end being pulled apart, wherein the paint-spraying device comprises a paint container, wherein the paint container comprises an air feed line that leads into the paint container, wherein the air feed line comprises a check valve, wherein the paint-spraying device comprises an air discharge line that is connected to the paint container, and the air discharge line comprises a shut-off valve by means of which the air discharge line is closed off during the operation of the paint-spraying device.
SPRAY SYSTEM AND METHOD OF SPRAYING
A liquid spray system (1e) and method of using a liquid spray system is shown. The spray system (1e) comprises a receptacle (100e) for holding liquid to be sprayed, a support structure (200e) for supporting the receptacle (100e), a spray applicator (300e) disposed remotely from the support structure (200e) and an air pressurising device for driving the liquid out of the receptacle (100e) and for mixing with the liquid at an outlet of the spray applicator (300e). Advantageously, the spray system (1e) is compact and versatile.
Measuring and mixing devices
The invention relates to a measuring and mixing device including a cartridge holder (1) and a cartridge (2), a flat, at least form-fit connection being mounted between the cartridge and the cartridge holder. The invention also relates to a method for coating substrates with two or multi-component coating agents, in which the measuring and mixing device is used.
DEVICE FOR FIBRIN-BIOPOLYMER-FORMING SUBSTANCE APPLICATION
The two devices described allow for greater control over application of a fibrin biopolymer and yet remain simple enough to be used by both medical personnel and by non-medical workers. One of the devices includes chambers where components necessary for formation of a fibrin biopolymer are stored and are pushed by plungers connected to an actuator upon the actuator receiving pressure from the user, with the components mixing in a chamber within the device and flowing out of a tube connected to the mixing chamber before formation of the fibrin biopolymer is completed. The other device dispenses formulations that include components necessary for formations of a fibrin biopolymer onto a skin of a patient using one or more propellants, with the formation of the fibrin biopolymer being initiated after the formulations are dispensed on the patient's skin and are intentionally mixed together.
METHODS OF APPLYING A RAPID CURE SEALANT TO AN AIRCRAFT SURFACE
Applicant discloses a novel method of spray applying multiple courses of a rapid cure, two part polymer sealant to an aircraft surface. The method sometimes uses a two part polymer mix for use in the aircraft industry that is applied with pneumatic mix and spray gun. The two part cartridge is used in the mix and spray gun so the mix is applied immediately upon mixing, but the two components are kept separated unless the gun is applying the mix. The multiple courses cure to form a clear sealant that allows for inspection of cracks and corrosion beneath the sealant. It cures quickly so that the coated part may be further processed, for example in the assembly line during aircraft build. Applicant further discloses multiple spray gun systems for applying such a two-part polymer mix to aircraft parts.
Paint spray gun
A paint spray gun includes a gun body formed as a unitary one piece structure composed of a tubular body portion, a valve connection portion, an air passageway portion and a feed connection portion. A spray cap is disposed on the tubular body portion and has a cap opening. The tubular body portion has an air chamber that is covered by the spray cap and that communicates with said cap opening, and a feed passage connected to the chamber. The valve connection portion, the air passageway portion and the feed connection portion are formed as one piece with the tubular body portion without welded joints.
SPRAY NOZZLE
A spray nozzle for spraying material includes an outlet, a mixing section, an inlet for the material, and a buffer space for pressurized gas. The mixing section is in fluid communication with the outlet. The inlet is in fluid communication with the mixing section. The buffer space is in fluid communication with the mixing section via two or more separate gas supply channels. The inlet comprises a separating wall configured to divide a flow of material to be sprayed into two separate flow passages prior to entry into the mixing section.
ATOMIZER
An atomizer includes a first piezoelectric pump, a first flow path, a reservoir part, and a second flow path. The first piezoelectric pump ejects gas through an outlet. The first flow path has a first end and a second end. The first end of the first flow path is connected to the outlet of the first piezoelectric pump. A connection point is provided between the first and second ends of the first flow path. Liquid is to be stored in the reservoir part. The second flow path has a first end and a second end. The first end of the second flow path is connected to the liquid reservoir part. The second end of the second flow path is connected to the connection point.
SPRAY GUN KIT, ASSOCIATED METHOD OF USE AND GUN
A kit for a spray gun including a sleeve delimiting an inner volume provided to contain a pressurized fluid, the sleeve being configured to be connected to a main body of a spray gun, the sleeve having a radial periphery delimiting a fluid outlet of the sleeve and at least one orifice emerging on the radial periphery and fluidly connecting the inner volume and the radial periphery, a connector having an intake end connected to the fluid outlet and a connecting end suitable for being connected to a cup so as to fluidly connect the cup to the inner volume of the sleeve, and a ring surrounding the sleeve and covering the fluid outlet outside the intake end of the connector.
Tubular holder
The present disclosure is directed to a holder. The holder includes a main body, the main body including an interior surface and an exterior surface, a film that extends around at least a portion of the circumference of a first end of the main body and covers an opening of the first end of the main body, and a sheet including a first surface and a second surface, the second surface opposed to the first surface, the first surface operably attached to the seal at at least one point, the sheet configured to extend a distance along an interior of the main body from the first end towards a second end, wherein at least a portion of the first surface of the sheet contacts the interior surface of the main body, and wherein a liquid composition contacts a second surface of the sheet.
