Methods for the manufacture of colorfast masonry
The invention is directed to compositions and methods for the manufacture of pigmented solids structures for which can be used for construction and/or decoration. Manufacturing comprises fixing one or more pigments to an aggregate material such as crushed rock, stone or sand. The pigmented aggregate is incubated with urease or urease producing microorganisms, an amount of a nitrogen source such as urea, and an amount of calcium source such as calcium chloride forming calcite bridges between particles of aggregate. The resulting solid has a hardness and colorfastness for most any construction material. Using selected aggregate and pigment, the process also provides for the manufacture of simulated-stone materials such as clay or granite bricks or blocks, marble counter-tops, and more. The invention is also directed to composition containing microorganisms and pigment as kits that can be added to most any aggregate materials.

Method of utilizing construction and demolition waste
A method of utilizing construction and demolition waste is disclosed. The method comprises pretreating the construction and demolition waste into particles with a predetermined range of size; and obtaining calcium carbonate from the particles. The method of the present invention enables to recycle a wide range of construction and demolition waste, furthermore it can convert these waste materials into the high purity calcium carbonate which can be widely used in many applications.

Method of Producing a Gypsum Slurry for Forming Gypsum Products and Method of Manufacturing a Gypsum Product
A method of producing a gypsum slurry for forming gypsum products, in particular gypsum boards, preferably gypsum paper boards, comprising the steps of: a) providing a gypsum paper product comprising a gypsum and a paper component, in particular a gypsum paper board, and/or broken parts thereof; b) wet grinding the gypsum paper product and/or the broken parts thereof containing at least parts of the paper component to form a wet ground gypsum paper component.
METHOD FOR RECYCLING WASTE PLASTIC INTO CONCRETE
A method of making a structural lightweight and thermal insulating concrete is described. The concrete has a coarse aggregate partly replaced by recycled plastic pieces. This enables the concrete to maintain a high compressive strength, low thermal conductivity, and low weight, while providing a use for waste plastic. The waste plastic pieces may comprise polyethylene in the form of flakes, fibers, or granules. Due to its low unit weight, adequate compressive strength and high thermal resistance the developed concrete can be used as a structural lightweight and thermal insulating concrete. The use of this concrete leads to economic and environmental benefits.
