The present invention provides a system, method, and apparatus for producing a dimensionally stable extruded board product for use in surface coverings. The board product may be a basalt casting powder-based product for use as a substrate for wall or other surface coverings or may be used as a core layer in a modular floor covering unit. The modular floor covering unit comprises multiple layers. The layers are a thin cut stone veneer layer, a core layer with a density similar to that of the thin cut stone veneer layer, and an optional magnetically receptive underlayment layer. Other layers or combinations of layers may also be used.

A fireplace surround structure is disclosed. The fireplace surround structure includes a mantel portion, a first vertical leg portion and a second vertical leg portion. The first leg portion and the second leg portion extend downward from the mantel portion at opposite ends to form a unitary fireplace surround structure. Each leg portion has a skeletal bar frame with a plurality of bar portions defining a three sided generally rectangular structure. Each of the sides has a lightweight non-combustible board portion attached on the exterior of the frame. The fireplace surround structure is open to one side and mountable on a wall surface. Each board portion is cast from a mix of Portland cement, silica, and cellulose fibers, which are combined and sintered into a flat board structure.

Pavement aging can be reduced by applying to an asphalt-containing pavement a topcoat layer or a surface treatment containing asphalt binder with sterols.

Disclosed in the present invention is a building with integral thermal insulation and heat shielding, in the technical field of construction engineering. The problem to be solved is to provide a building with integral thermal insulation and heat shielding, and the solution employed is as follows: a building with integral thermal insulation and heat shielding, which at least uses one of an inorganic thermal insulation structural layer and an inorganic thermal insulation layer; the inorganic thermal insulation structural layer is formed of one of, or a combination of both of, inorganic, thermally-insulating, heat-shielding and load-bearing concrete and inorganic, thermally-insulating, load-bearing building blocks; the inorganic, thermally-insulating, heat-shielding and load-bearing concrete has the following components in weight proportions: concrete composite light aggregate blending material: cement:sand:stone:ceramsite:fly ash:water:concrete admixture=(6−225):(200-800):(300-700):(500-1600):(150-650):(10-600):(80-400):(0.1-200). The present invention can be widely applied to the technical field of construction.

A foam-forming composition for producing a rigid polyurethane foam including: (a) at least one isocyanate component; and (b) at least one isocyanate-reactive composition including: (bi) a rigid polyol compound; and (bii) a flexible polyol compound; (c) a catalyst package including at least one latent gelling catalyst; and (d) at least one blowing agent.

A soundproofing material including a porous body having a cell structure and including inorganic fibers other than asbestos, wherein an average cell diameter is more than 300 μm and 1000 μm or less, a bulk density is 0.007 to 0.024 g/cm.sup.3, and a flow resistivity is 170,000 to 2,000,000 Ns/m.sup.4.

The invention relates to a potting paste composition for honeycomb reinforcement having improved fire retardancy characteristics. The potting paste composition comprises (a) a curable polymer; (b) a curing agent for the curable polymer; (c) a fire retardant comprising an ammonium polyphosphate in combination with an ingredient selected from the group consisting of metal hydroxides, expandable graphites, liquid phosphate esters, phosphorous organic compounds or salts thereof, and zeolites; and(d) a filler selected from the group consisting of polymeric microspheres, hollow glass microspheres, and thixotropic fillers; wherein the potting paste has an uncured density determined by the method according to EN ISO 1183 of not more than 0.7100 g/cm.sup.3, preferably of at most 0.680 g/cm.sup.3, more preferably of at most 0.673 g/cm.sup.3, still more preferably of at most 0.660 g/cm.sup.3, even more preferably of at most 0.658 g/cm.sup.3, yet more preferably of at most 0.653 g/cm.sup.3 and in particular of at most 0.620 g/cm.sup.3; and wherein the total content of the fire retardant is at least 5.0 wt.-%, preferably at least 10 wt.-%, more preferably at least 15 wt.-%, relative to the total weight of the potting paste composition.

A continuous flexible cement sheet roll for coating construction slabs, is disclosed. The sheet comprising a flexible cement layer, which has a thickness of between 0.3 to 6 mm, such as between 0.5 and 5 mm, and which comprises a) essentially inorganic mortar and b) up to 15% polymeric binder. When the amount of a component in a mixture is expressed in % units, the weight % of the component relative to the weight of the whole mixture is intended. The flexible cement sheet roll of the invention comprises, a reinforcing layer of a thickness lower than the thickness of said cement layer, selected from films of a nonwoven fabrics, layers of organic or inorganic fibers, polymer webs, chop strand mat, and fiberglass mats, among others.
