Systems and methods for LIDARs with adjustable resolution and failsafe operation
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods operable to provide point cloud information about an environment based on reconfigurable spatial light emission patterns and reconfigurable light detector arrangements that correspond to the light emission patterns. Additionally, a LIDAR device with a plurality of light emitters and photodetectors may be operated in a first mode of operation or a second mode of operation. The first mode of operation could be a normal mode of operation. The second mode of operation could be a failsafe mode of operation that is used when a fault condition is detected.

Attitude determination by pulse beacon and low cost inertial measuring unit
The system and method of attitude determination by pulse beacon and extremely low cost inertial measuring unit. A pulse beacon is used to generate a plurality of pulses detected by a detector or receiver located on the rear of a projectile such that direction of arrival can be determined. A synchronized clock proved for velocity and range information. Altitude can also be determined and may use an altimeter or the like. The use of a low cost IMU is possible with internal calibration by the system. Real-time attitude information provides for correction for crosswind and other drift enabling the system to have less down range dispersion.

SINGLE ANTENNA DIRECTION FINDING AND LOCALIZATION
Single antenna direction finding is performed by physically moving a device to different device positions. As the device is physically moved, signal processing hardware within the device is used to make a plurality of signal response measurements of a signal detected by a single antenna of the device. The signal emanates from an object. The plurality of signal response measurements are made by sampling signal response at a plurality of sample times. A means for 3-dimensional positioning makes a plurality of inertial measurements at the plurality of sample times. The plurality of signal response measurements and the plurality of inertial measurements are used to produce a virtual response array vector. The virtual response array vector is used to calculate a direction of arrival from the object to the device.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING, TRACKING AND IDENTIFYING SMALL UNMANNED SYSTEMS SUCH AS DRONES
A system for providing integrated detection and countermeasures against unmanned aerial vehicles include a detecting element, a location determining element and an interdiction element. The detecting element detects an unmanned aerial vehicle in flight in the region of, or approaching, a property, place, event or very important person. The location determining element determines the exact location of the unmanned aerial vehicle. The interdiction element can either direct the unmanned aerial vehicle away from the property, place, event or very important person in a non-destructive manner, or can cause disable the unmanned aerial vehicle in a destructive manner.
