METHODS OF COMMUNICATING GEOLOCATED DATA BASED UPON A SELF-VERIFYING ARRAY OF NODES

Methods and apparatus for verifying respective positions of Nodes based upon ultrawideband wireless communications between nodes included in an array. Values for variables derived from multiple wireless transmissions between the nodes are aggregated, and a position of a particular node may be determined based upon multiple data sets generated by multiple communications of disparate Nodes. Data is transmitted to a smart device based upon a position of a particular node and a direction of interest. In addition, the presence of an obstacle to wireless communication between some nodes may be derived from the data sets. A user interface may provide a pictorial view of positions of all or some Nodes in an array, as well as a perceived obstruction.

Devices, systems and processes for identifying and detecting an interfering signal are described. A process may include conducting a scan of one or more frequency bands to obtain at least one scan result and determining therefrom if a response condition has been detected. If so detected, a first frequency band corresponding to the detected response condition may be identified and a response condition action to be performed determined. If no response condition action is to be performed, scanning continues. If a response condition is to be performed two or more available sensors are identified and a first sensor is selected. A scan plan is developed and then initiated by the first sensor. Data from the first sensor is received and analyzed to identify a second frequency band indicative of an interfering signal. Based on at least the scan data, a location for a signal interference source (SIS) may be estimated.

In some aspects, range difference values (d.sub.i) and coordinate vectors (a.sub.i) of devices in the measurement device array are obtained. The range difference values are generated based on time difference of arrival measurements of wireless signals between the target device and each of the devices in the measurement device array. A first matrix (A) and a first vector (b) are constructed. The first matrix (A) and the first vector (b) each includes the range difference values and the coordinate vectors. Whether a second vector (y) satisfies a condition set is determined. The condition set includes a first condition (A.sup.TA+λD)y=A.sup.Tb and a second condition v.sup.T (A.sup.TA+λD)v≥0. The radio can receive a first signal transmitted from a first direction by the wireless communication device to the movable device, and a second signal transmitted from a second direction by the wireless communication device to the movable device. The processor can calculate a first angle of arrival (AOA) a second AOA. The processor can estimate the fixed position of the wireless communication device based on the first AOA, the second AOA, the first position and the second position.

The location management device sends second SRS resource configuration information to a terminal device, where the second SRS resource configuration information includes third SRS resource configuration information and a downlink reference signal associated with an SRS resource indicated by the third SRS resource configuration information, and the third SRS resource configuration information is a part or all of the first SRS resource configuration information. The location management device configures the SRS resource for the terminal device, so that the SRS resource can be associated with the downlink reference signal. This helps the terminal device obtain information about a transmission beam for sending an SRS, and therefore SRS receiving efficiency of the cell can be improved to some extent.
