A method according to an embodiment includes receiving UWB data indicative of a distance of a mobile device relative to the access control device and a SNR of signals received by a plurality of UWB antennas, inferring a side of the passageway at which the mobile device is located based on the distance of the mobile device relative to the access control device and also based on the SNR of the signals, estimating a travel time of the mobile device to the passageway based on the UWB data if the inferred side of the passageway based on the distance of the mobile device is different from the side of the passageway inferred based on the SNR of the signals, and determining the side of the passageway at which the mobile device is located to be an unsecure side of the passageway if the travel time exceeds a predefined threshold time.

System and Method for Detection and Identification of Radio Frequency Source
20210025964 · 2021-01-28 · ·

The present invention discloses a system and a method for detecting, localizing and categorizing radio frequency (RF) emitting sources. In operation presence of one or more RF sources are determined. Further, movement in the detected one or more RF sources is detected based on at least presence of spread power in spatial harmonics and visibility phase measurement. The frequencies of the radio waves at which the movement of one or more RF sources is detected are identified. A localization antenna subsystem is tuned to the identified frequencies one at a time to localize and identify the RF sources. Furthermore, the RF source is classified as an airborne source or ground-based source using radio interferometry imaging. Finally, on determination that the moving RF source is airborne, the interferometric images are further processed to confirm the type of airborne source.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR IMPROVING INFECTION CONTROL IN A FACILITY
20210027882 · 2021-01-28 ·

Methods and systems for monitoring procedural compliance of staff in a facility. One or more defined procedure to be performed by staff in a room of the facility are stored in a memory. The defined procedure(s) may include one or more conditions that must be met for the procedure to be considered as performed correctly. The one or more conditions may include visiting a defined procedure location in the room. The location of the person in the room may be identified by triangulating one or more signals emitted by a device carried by the person and/or transmitting one or more signals into the room and receiving one or more corresponding reflected signals reflected off the person in the room. The method and/or system may determine whether the one or more conditions of the defined procedure have been met, and if not, issue an alert.
