The present invention further relates to a method for producing a digital printed image, in particular on a textile, in which image data for a print order are sent to a data server, by means of a first raster image processor module the sent image data are converted into a data format which can be read and processed in the form of a printed image by at least one printing device having at least one digital print head, in particular an inkjet print head, and in which the image data in the converted file format are transmitted to the printing apparatus. The converted image data transmitted to the printing apparatus are adapted in a printer-specific manner on the printing apparatus by means of a second raster image processor module prior to the printing of a corresponding printed image.

According to one embodiment, an image processing apparatus includes a scanner to generate image data by scanning a document and a control unit. The control is configured to set, for each pixel in the image data, a second pixel value based on a first pixel value and a difference between a first base value corresponding to a base color of the document and a second base value that is based on neighboring pixel values around the pixel. A correction table is used to obtain a corrected second pixel value for each pixel. A third pixel value for each pixel is set based on the corrected second pixel value and the difference between the first and second base values.

A system and method for capturing media and for printing the captured media onto an article of merchandise. The system includes a mobile application that overlays one or more print dielines corresponding to the printable areas of one or more types of merchandise onto an associated camera display. In this way, the system provides, prior to the capturing of the photograph, a visual indication of the subject matter within the photograph (e.g., within the overlaid print dielines) that will be cropped and printed onto the merchandise. As such, a user may properly arrange the subject matter of the photograph (e.g., people) within the print dieline prior to capturing the photograph. The system subsequently communicates the portion of the photograph within the print dieline to a printing system to print the portion onto the merchandise. The system derives the print dielines from graphic files that correspond to the merchandises' printable areas.

An image processing apparatus includes an acquisition unit acquiring content larger in size than a screen and scrolled on the screen as a moving image, an extraction unit extracting, from the moving image, a plurality of frame images corresponding to a plurality of divided images obtained by division of the content based on a size of the screen, and a generation unit generating a single still image by synthesizing the plurality of frame images extracted by the extraction unit.
