ACCESSORY FOR UTILIZATION WITH NON-CONTACT ELECTRICAL DETECTOR

Accessories are removably received by a non-contact electrical detector for measuring an electrical characteristic without galvanic contact between the accessory and a non-contact sensor in the non-contact electrical detector. In some embodiments, an accessory is positioned in a gap between first and second extensions of the non-contact electrical detector. In some embodiments, an accessory includes first and second recesses on opposite sides of the accessory. First and second clamp arms of a non-contact electrical detector are inserted within the first and second recesses to removably hold the accessory. An external conductive prong of the accessory is electrically coupled, or is selectively electrically coupleable, with an internal conductive prong of the accessory. The external conductive prong is configured to be inserted into a receptacle of an electrical outlet. In use, the accessory positions the internal conductive prong within a sensing area of the non-contact electrical sensor of the non-contact electrical detector.

Provided is a two axis test fixture, which can include systems and associated methods. Some methods described also include implementing and/or controlling a two-axis test fixture. Systems and computer program products are also provided. A test fixture is used to test, calibrate, or validate an IMU. The test fixture is operable to rotate a device under test (e.g., IMU) along two axes while mounted to a turntable. The rotation of the turntable is enabled via multiple slip rings, rotational bearings, and standoff fixtures. Testing of the device along greater than two axes is achieved through rotation of the device under test on the turntable, and revolutions of the device under test about an axle.

TEST DEVICE AND METHOD

A test device and a method are provided in the invention. The test device includes a first connection interface, a storage device, a processor and a second connection interface. The first connection interface is coupled to a device under test (DUT) and obtains power information from the DUT according to a first instruction. The storage device stores the power information. The processor is coupled to the first connection interface and storage device, when the first connection interface is coupled to the DUT, sends the first instruction to the first connection interface, receives the power information from the first connection interface, and stores the power information in the storage device. The second connection interface is coupled to an external controlling system, sends the power information to the external controlling system and receives a test instruction from the external controlling system to test the DUT.

AUTOMATED SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING CONNECTORIZED EQUIPMENT AND MANAGING THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
20170370987 · 2017-12-28 ·

There is described a method for assembling a connectorized electrical equipment. A connectivity list required for the connectorized electrical equipment is provided, comprising an origin connector and its identifier, a destination electrical equipment subpart and its identifier thereof; and a list of connections between the origin connector and the destination electrical equipment subpart. By querying a database comprising a library of connectors, a construction plan is generated for the connectorized electrical equipment. The construction plan includes diagrams for assembly, images to assist the assembler, a list of material for managing inventory and instructions. An ATE can be connected to the connectorized electrical equipment to be assembled. Based on the construction plan, instructions are provided for a connection between the origin connector and the destination electrical equipment subpart. Connections can be made manually or using the ATE. All connections are registered in real time for progression tracking and instruction updates.

A plurality of batteries is stacked, together with spacers, in a compressed state. Charging and discharging units are arranged facing lead terminals protruding from the batteries and are independently operable for the respective batteries. The charging and discharging units each independently include substantially V-like shaped power-side and measurement-side contact elements elastically supported by compression coil springs and having floating freedom. When the batteries are moved all together toward the charging and discharging units, front end surfaces of the lead terminals are pressed against and electrically connected to flat surfaces of the power-side and measurement-side contact elements. By this, it is possible to smoothly perform charging and discharging inspection on the batteries even when the lead terminals protruding from the battery package are subjected in advance to surface treatment.

A clamp is mounted on the base and associated with the cable groove. A connector is associated with the cable groove and has a solderless center terminal aligned with the cable groove and an outer shield being mechanically and electrically connected to the base.

Liquid metal interconnects

Embodiments of the invention provide methods for forming electrical connections using liquid metals. Electrical connections that employ liquid metals are useful for testing and validation of semiconductor devices. Electrical connections are formed between the probes of a testing interface and the electronic interface of a device under test through a liquid metal region. In embodiments of the invention, liquid metal interconnects are comprised of gallium or liquid metal alloys of gallium. The use of liquid metal contacts does not require a predetermined amount of force be applied in order to reliably make an electrical connection.
