Electric vehicle (EV) charge unit reservations
A computer implemented method for managing charge availability of a charge unit (CU) to obtain charge for a battery of an electric vehicle (EV) is provided. The CU includes a computer for processing at least part of the method and for communicating with a server over a network. The method includes receiving, by the server, status information from the computer of the CU. The method includes sending to the computer of the CU instructions to make a reservation for the CU. The reservation is for a user account that has requested a desire to charge the battery of the electric vehicle of the user at the CU or another CU. The method includes sending, by the server, a confirmation for the reservation to the user account. The confirmation is viewable via a device having access to the server via the user account. The method includes sending, by the server, a data regarding a time of availability of the CU to the user account for the reservation. The computer of the CU is configured to display a visual indicator regarding the reservation of the CU.
Device, method, and program for commercial product reliability evaluation based on image comparison
A product evaluation device includes a receiving means for receiving product specifying information for specifying a product attribute, an acquisition means for acquiring designation in formation corresponding to a product attribute specified by the product specifying information from a storage means storing, for each product attribute, a genuine image showing a characteristic part for evaluating whether a product is a genuine product and designation information designating the characteristic part in association with each other, a request means for requesting a user to take a photograph by designating a characteristic part of the product based on the designation information acquired from the storage means and requesting a photographed image obtained by the photographing, and an output means for outputting an evaluation result obtained based on the photographed image provided in response to the request and the genuine image stored in the storage means.
Generating custom merchant content interfaces
One or more embodiments of the disclosure include a digital merchant content system that creates one or more custom merchant content interfaces. In particular, in one or more embodiments, the digital merchant content system generates custom merchant content interfaces based on a custom merchant content template. The digital merchant content system can generate custom merchant content templates comprising unpopulated product display layouts. Moreover, in one or more embodiments, the digital merchant content system receives a product feed and generates a custom merchant content interface by populating the unpopulated product display layouts based on the custom merchant content template and the product feed.
Displaying interfaces in different display areas based on activities
An electronic device includes a first application. The electronic device detects a first operation. The electronic device displays, in a landscape orientation state, a first interface of the first application in a first area of a display screen of the electronic device in response to the first operation. The electronic device detects a second operation on the first interface, where the second operation enables the electronic device to open a second interface of the first application. The electronic device displays the second interface in a second area in response to the second operation. The display screen includes at least two areas, the at least two areas include the first area and the second area, and different areas of the display screen do not overlap.
Compressed content object and action detection
Various embodiments of a framework which allow, as an alternative to resource-taxing decompression, efficient computation of feature maps using a compressed content data subset, such as video, by exploiting the motion information, such as a motion vector, present in the compressed video. This framework allows frame-specific object recognition and action detection algorithms to be applied to compressed video and other media files by executing only on I-frames in a Group of Pictures and linearly interpolating the results. Training and machine learning increases recognition accuracy. Yielding significant computational gains, this approach accelerates frame-wise feature extraction I-frame/P-frame/P-frame videos as well as I-frame/P-frame/B-frame videos. The present techniques may also be used for segmentation to identify and label respective regions for objects in a video.
Generating online auction listings
Apparatuses, methods, program products, and systems are disclosed for generating online auction listings. An apparatus includes a content processing module that processes, on a mobile device, one or more of image and video content of an item captured with a camera of the mobile device. The one or more of image and video content processed for posting on an online auction marketplace platform. An apparatus includes an information module that receives, on the mobile device, information associated with the item in the one or more of image and video content. An apparatus includes a transmission module that sends the one or more of image and video content and the information associated with the item directly from the mobile device to the online auction marketplace platform to be posted as an auction listing.
Method and system for virtual real estate tours and virtual shopping
A process and method for generation of 3D interactive rendition of space by first digitizing the space as a TXLD file from point clouds, 2-D floor plans, photographs and/or videos, and/or elevation views then processing the file to create 3D interactive renditions of the space using virtual reality, augmented reality, or mixed reality technologies, constantly growing and evolving 3D library of digital representations of both fixtures and non-fixtures based on real products, automating and personalizing product selection and placement for a given user and target environment, using an ensemble recommendation system, which relies on weighted averages of probabilistic, content-based, clustering, and collaborative filtering models, among other suitable models that may be added to the ensemble in the future. If a medium does not necessitate 3D model creation of the environment the products are automatically placed in the medium view based on the encoded position in the TXLD file.
System, method, and computer program for providing similar product recommendations for non-merchant publishers based on publisher preferences
The present disclosure relates to a system, method, and computer program for automatically providing similar product recommendations for sold-out products promoted on non-merchant publisher sites, wherein the similar product recommendations are filtered for publisher preferences. A computer system with a product database provides a platform that enables non-merchant publishers to search products in the database, create call-to-actions on publisher sites for products in the database, and automatically receive similar product recommendations when end users of the publisher sites attempt to purchase promoted products that are now sold out. Once a publisher creates a call-to-action for a product that subsequently becomes sold out, similar product recommendations are provided without requiring any action on the publisher's part to change the publisher's site. Similar product recommendations are tailored to each publisher to account for publisher preferences. Publisher preferences may be learned by the system based on publisher behavior or inputted by each publisher.
Systems and methods for retraining of machine learned systems
Systems and methods including one or more processors and one or more non-transitory storage devices storing computing instructions configured to run on the one or more processors and perform: training a visual similarity model; determining one or more nearest neighbors for an item using the visual similarity model, as trained; ranking the one or more nearest neighbors using results of the visual similarity model, as trained; re-ranking the one or more nearest neighbors using a learning-to-rank algorithm; and facilitating altering a graphical user interface (GUI) displaying the item based upon the one or more nearest neighbors, as re-ranked. Other embodiments are disclosed herein.
Payment systems and methods for in-store and online purchases
Systems and methods for implementing payments or mobile payments. In an aspect of in-store purchase, a merchant sends a payment amount and merchant account info to transaction center. A buyer sends a code and buyer account info to transaction center. The code represents the merchant. In an aspect of online purchase, an e-commerce merchant provides options for a buyer to use names other than a first name plus a surname. In one embodiment, a buyer submits a shortened name or nickname for online purchases when a given payment service is used as a payment method.
