The end effector may include a housing, a motor, a clutch, and a drive shaft. A tool coupled to the end effector may include an electro-mechanical (EM) coupler. The EM coupler may include a housing, an electric plug, a lid lifter, a lead screw, and a servomotor.
Pin and sleeve device with features to facilitate easier assembly
An electrical pin and sleeve device is disclosed. The pin and sleeve device incorporating one or more features to facilitate easier assembly. For example, the pin and sleeve device may include an interrupted thread or a multi-start thread for coupling a first or main housing portion to a second or front housing portion of the device. In this manner, the outer housing can be assembled together with minimal number of turns to facilitate easier and faster assembly. Additionally, and/or alternatively, the front housing portion and the main housing portion may include a key such as, for example, a releasable lock (e.g., a spring plunger assembly) for indexing/indicating the proper rotational position of the front housing relative to the main housing to limit or prevent over-rotation. Additionally, and/or alternatively, a hollow O-ring may be positioned between the first and second housing portions.
Method and system for modular connections with electrical components
An electronic module for a modular patient care system is disclosed. The electronic module can include a housing having an attachment side configured to releasably attach to an adjacent electronic module. A latch mechanism can be configured to engage a catch member on the adjacent electronic module to secure the attachment side to the adjacent electronic module. An electrical connector positioned on the attachment side can be configured to electrically connect to an adjacent electrical connector on the adjacent electronic module. A sensor coupled to the housing can be configured to detect movement of the latch mechanism indicative of at least one of engagement or disengagement of the latch mechanism from the adjacent electronic module.
High-speed connector for automobile
A high-speed connector for an automobile includes a cable connector, a board connector connected to the cable connector, and sliding blocks provided on two sides of the cable connector. The sliding blocks are separate or are integrated. The cable connector includes a housing, a contact body and a cable. The contact body is installed in the housing. The contact body is in contact with the board connector to achieve an electric connection. The cable is connected to the contact body and protrudes out of the housing. The housing includes a main body portion and side snap-fit plates provided on two sides of the main body portion. A side snap-fit groove is provided on the side snap-fit plate. Side snap-fit clasps are provided on two sides of the board terminal connector. The sliding blocks are installed on the side snap-fit plates and slide upwards and downwards along the side snap-fit plates.
PLUG CONNECTOR WITH FLEXIBLE INSERTION DIRECTIONS
A plug connector includes a plug head, a plug terminal module, a locking member and a retaining body installed on one side of the plug connector. The plug terminal module includes a number of first plug terminals and a number of second plug terminals. The first plug terminals and the second plug terminals have a same structure and number. The first plug terminals and the second plug terminals are symmetrically arranged on opposite sides of the plug connector head.
RECEPTACLE CONNECTOR WITH FLEXIBLE INSERTION DIRECTIONS
A receptacle connector includes an insulating portion, a receptacle terminal module mounted to the insulating portion, a metal shell enclosing the insulating portion, and a receptacle circuit board. The insulating portion includes a receiving space and a mating space extending from the receiving space. The mating space extends through the insulating portion to form a mating port. The receptacle terminal module includes a first terminal module and a second terminal module. The first terminal module and the second terminal module have a same structure, and are symmetrically arranged on opposite sides of the mating space. The first terminal module and the second terminal module are electrically connected to the receptacle circuit board.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR HAVING AN INSULATIVE HOUSING AND A BOTTOM SUBSTRATE
An electrical connector includes: an insulative housing having a top wall and a pair of side walls; and a substrate secured to the insulative housing to constitute a bottom wall of the insulative housing, the substrate having plural front conductive pads at an upper face thereof and plural rear conductive pads at a lower face thereof in electrical connection with the plural front conductive pads.
Plug connector with secondary lock
The invention relates to a plug connection (1) having a plug connector (2) and a mating plug connector (3). The plug connector (2) and the mating plug connector (3) can be plugged together in order to form the plug connection (1), wherein the plug connector (2) has a contact support (4) with at least one contact chamber for receiving a contact partner, and the contact support (4) is inserted into an outer housing (5) of the plug connector (2). Each contact partner is primarily locked in the contact chamber of the contact partner, and a secondary lock (6) is provided for a secondary locking of the contact partners in the contact chambers thereof. The invention is characterized in that the secondary lock (6) is formed by a longitudinal web (16), at the two ends of which a respective latching element (17) is arranged that interacts with the contact support (4), and at least one force absorbing web (19) is arranged on the upper face of the longitudinal web (16).
Connector and connector assembly
Provided is a housing including a bottom wall, a front-end wall, side walls, and a mating space. Each of the side walls includes a locking protrusion configured to engage with a counterpart locking protrusion locking protrusion of a counterpart housing when the counterpart housing is inserted into the mating space. Each of the side walls also includes an auxiliary-metal-fixture mounting portion configured to be loaded with an auxiliary metal fixture having a bottom end that is to be fixed to a surface of a board.
