A display device according to an embodiment includes: a first substrate; a transistor disposed on the first substrate; a light emitting element electrically connected to the transistor; an inner heat dissipation layer disposed below the light emitting element; and an external heat dissipation layer connected to the inner heat dissipation layer.

A display device and a method of manufacturing the display device are provided. The display device includes a substrate including a transmissive display area including a first pixel area, a second pixel area, and an opening area between the first pixel area and the second pixel area and defining a substrate opening portion, a light-emitting element layer above the substrate and including a first light-emitting element in the first pixel area and a second light-emitting element in the second pixel area, and a first inorganic encapsulation layer above the light-emitting element layer and extending from the first pixel area to the second pixel area across the substrate opening portion.

A mother substrate for producing cell areas for a plurality of display device is disclosed that includes a base substrate and a ground area. The base substrate includes a plurality of cell areas and a ground area surrounding each cell area of the plurality of cell areas. A ground line is disposed to surround an edge of each cell area of the plurality of cell areas. A ground pad is disposed to be spaced apart from the ground line on the ground area. A ground connection electrode disposed on a surface of the ground line and a surface of the ground pad electrically connects the ground line with the ground pad. Each cell area of the plurality of cell areas includes a light emitting element and a thin film transistor disposed on the light emitting element.

A display device and a method of manufacturing a display device are provided. A display device includes a display panel including a first pixel area, and a second pixel area including a plurality of protruding patterns protruded outward from the first pixel area at a corner portion having both a curvature of left or right side and a curvature of upper or lower side of the display device, and a cut-out portion defined by a space between the plurality of protruding patterns, and a protective member on a lower surface of the display panel includes a first protective area overlapping with the first pixel area of the display panel in a thickness direction, and a second protective area overlapping with the second pixel area of the display panel in the thickness direction, and a density per unit volume of the second protective area is greater than that of the first protective area.

A display apparatus includes a substrate, a first semiconductor layer disposed on the substrate, a second semiconductor layer disposed on the first semiconductor layer, an interlayer insulating layer disposed on the second semiconductor layer and including a plurality of inorganic insulating layers, a source electrode or a drain electrode disposed on the interlayer insulating layer and respectively connected to the first semiconductor layer or the second semiconductor layer, and an organic light emitting element connected to the source electrode or the drain electrode, where the plurality of inorganic insulating layers include an oxide layer, a first nitride layer disposed on the oxide layer and having a first density, and a second nitride layer disposed on the first nitride layer and having a second density lower than the first density.

A display substrate, a method for manufacturing the same and a display device are provided. The display substrate includes a base substrate and a thin film transistor array arranged on the base substrate. Multiple pixels arranged in an array are provided in an effective display region of the display substrate. The effective display region includes an optical element arrangement region and other display regions, and a transmittance of the optical element arrangement region is larger than transmittances of the other display regions. In the optical element arrangement region, an optical element is arranged on a side of the base substrate away from the thin film transistor array, and the optical element emits and receives light that is transmitted through the display substrate.

A display apparatus includes a substrate including at least one hole disposed in a hole area of the substrate, a thin film transistor disposed on the substrate, a light-emitting component disposed on the substrate and electrically connected to the thin film transistor, an insulating layer disposed on the substrate, a thin film encapsulation layer disposed on the substrate, and a laser blocking layer. The stretchable display panel includes a stretchable base substrate; a flexible base wall on the stretchable base substrate, the flexible base wall substantially enclosing a substantially enclosed space; an adhesive layer on the stretchable base substrate and substantially enclosed in the substantially enclosed space; and a plurality of light emitting elements on a side of the adhesive layer away from the stretchable base substrate. A respective one of the plurality of encapsulated islands includes at least one of the plurality of light emitting elements encapsulated therein on the stretchable base substrate.

A method of manufacturing a display apparatus includes separating a mother substrate that includes a plurality of connected unit display apparatuses into a plurality of separated unit display apparatuses. Each separated unit display apparatus includes a display panel and at least one supporting unit attached below the display panel. The display panel includes a display substrate that has a pad area on which are disposed a plurality of pads and a thin film encapsulation layer on the display substrate. The method further includes consecutively cutting the display panel and the at least one supporting unit of each separated unit display apparatus along cutting lines in the pad area, where a first cut surface of the pad area of the display substrate and a second cut surface of the at least one supporting unit are respectively cut at different angles.
