PANEL FOR COVERING AND/OR SOUNDPROOFING A WALL OF A VEHICLE AND ASSOCIATED METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A panel for covering and/or soundproofing a wall of a vehicle includes a central layer produced by impregnating a flexible and porous material with a thermoformable resin, then rigidifying the thermoformable resin. The panel also includes two reinforcement layers arranged on either side of the central layer. The impregnation of the flexible and porous material with the thermoformable resin is carried out deep within the flexible and porous material by subjecting a powder of the thermoformable resin to an alternating electric field, the two reinforcement layers being made of a flexible or semi-rigid material.
Prepreg, fiber reinforced composite material, and manufacturing method for fiber reinforced composite material
Embodiments herein relate to a prepreg comprising a thermosetting resin, and reinforcing fibers in the thermosetting resin, wherein when the prepreg is cured in vacuum bag only conditions, and a method of making the same. The method also applies for autoclave processing. Embodiments also relate to a cured fiber reinforced composite material made by thermally curing the prepreg.
DOUBLE-SIDED ADHESIVE TAPE FOR DISPLAY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
Provided are a double-sided adhesive tape for a display and a manufacturing method therefor, the double-sided adhesive tape sequentially including: a first acrylic adhesive layer; an acrylic foaming layer; a thermoplastic film layer having a black layer laminated on at least one surface thereof; and a second acrylic adhesive layer.
LOCALIZED PANEL STIFFENER
A device (10) comprising a carrier material (14) and a matrix material (12) deposited onto the carrier material in a pattern that leaves a predetermined amount of space (18) between each deposition of matrix material.
Thermally Insulating Cloths
A thermally insulating cloth is provided. The thermally insulating cloth has a layered structure comprising at least three layers, a first and a second outer textile layer providing the outer surfaces of said cloth, and an intermediate layer, wherein said first and said second outer textile layer are laminated to the intermediate layer, said first outer textile layer having an air permeability of less than or equal to 40 cc/sec*5 cm.sup.2, said second outer textile layer having air permeability of less than or equal to 40 cc/sec*5 cm.sup.2, said intermediate layer comprising a textile fabric comprising aerogel powder, in an amount in a range of 1 to 70% w.
Acrylic foam adhesive tape and flat-panel display applying same
Provided is an acrylic foam adhesive tape including: an acrylic foam layer formed by curing a composition for forming an acrylic foam layer; and an adhesive layer being in contact with one surface of the acrylic foam layer, wherein shear strength of the acrylic foam layer is 5 kg/cm.sup.2 to 15 kg/cm.sup.2.
Insulation film and method for making insulation film
The present invention provides an insulation film and a method for making the insulation film, comprising a film upper layer and a film lower layer, wherein both of the film upper layer and film lower layer are made of a heat conduction plastics material, the heat conduction plastics material contains a heat conduction additive; and a film intermediate layer located between the film upper layer and the film lower layer. The film intermediate layer is made of a heat conduction plastics material, and the heat conduction plastics material contains a conductive additive An upper surface of the film intermediate layer is bound together with a lower surface of the film upper layer, and a lower surface of the film intermediate layer is bound together with an upper surface of the film lower layer.
Wedge-shaped multi-layer interlayer with outer skin layers of varying thickness
Multiple layer interlayers having enhanced optical and acoustic properties are provided, along with methods of making and using the same. Interlayers as described herein may include at least two outer skin layers and an inner core layer, with one of the outer skin layers having a different thickness than the other at one or more locations along the interlayer. The multi-layer interlayer may also exhibit acoustic properties and, in some cases, may have an overall wedged thickness profile. Additionally, in some aspects, interlayers and laminates formed therefrom may also provide reduced infrared energy transmission, without sacrificing acoustic and/or optical performance.
Push through blister package with plastic lidding
Provided is a single material plastic push-through blister pack for food and pharmaceutical packaging and a method of making thereof. The blister package may be produced by thermoforming polymer films for the cavity and a cavitated polymer film made from the same class of polymer comparatively lower thickness for the substrate or lid. To facilitate the push through breaking, the polymer film used as the lidding film may be modified to a microcavitated film by creating micro-voids/cavities and micro-brittleness within the polymer matrix. These micro-voids/cavities, and/or embedded microcrystalline particles present in the polymer matrix of the lidding film, may create internal cracks in the film by application of a small external force, which may then result in rupturing of the lid film to dispense a product from the cavity of the blister pack.
Particulate foam stacked casings
An article of footwear includes an upper, a midsole attached to the upper, and an outsole. The midsole has a footbed and a bottom surface disposed on an opposite side of the midsole than the footbed. The outsole has a ground-engaging surface, an inner surface disposed on an opposite side of the outsole than the ground-engaging surface, and a wall extending from the ground-engaging surface and surrounding the outsole. The article of footwear also includes at least two casings each containing particulate matter and having a thickness extending substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the outsole. The at least two casings are arranged in a layered configuration and received within a cavity bounded by the wall of the outsole and between the bottom surface and the inner surface.
