HOUSING FOR A HEATING, VENTILATION AND/OR AIR CONDITIONING DEVICE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
The invention relates to a heating, ventilation and/or air conditioning device (10) for a motor vehicle, comprising a housing (12) defining an air duct (11) for the passage of an airflow comprising—an inlet module (8), comprising at least one air inlet (15, 16), an air filter (70) being arranged within the inlet module (8), and—a distribution module (9) comprising at least one air outlet (27, 29, 30), the inlet module (8) and the distribution module (9) being detachably assembled to one another; according to the invention, the inlet module (8) is configured to be arranged in a first area of the vehicle, and the distribution module (9) is configured to be arranged in a second area of the vehicle, the air filter (70) being able to be removed from the second area of the vehicle. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle comprising such a device.
Vehicle air filter
A vehicle intake air filter is provided forming an inner conduit formed between an upper orifice and a lower orifice. In addition to an outer filtering layer, a secondary filtering layer or layers are provided spanning the upper orifice. A monitoring mechanism for measuring and communicating a function of the air filter is further located within the upper orifice. The monitoring mechanism measures and communicates the function of the air filter. A plurality of sensors measure a differential pressure between the outer and inner surfaces of the filter. A remote communication system transmits sensor data from the sensors via a wireless communication protocol to a remote electronic monitor device, such as a cell phone. Increased pressure differential or filter performance or efficacy may thereby be displayed to the user on a real-time basis. The instant abstract is neither intended to define the invention disclosed in this specification nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.
VEHICLE, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
A vehicle includes a vehicle cabin, a filter configured to allow air blown toward the vehicle cabin to pass through the filter while adsorbing at least a portion of a substance contained in the air, a sensor configured to detect the state of the air passing through the filter, and a control device configured to output information relating to maintenance of the filter based on the result of detection performed by the sensor.
Cabin air filter and filter assembly
A cabin air filter is provided with a filter medium and a filter element frame that frames the filter medium and is configured to attach the cabin air filter to a filter housing. The filter element frame is provided with at least one engagement element configured to engage pivotably at least one receiving element of the filter housing for pivoting the cabin air filter relative to the filter housing about a pivot axis. The filter element frame also has at least one snap hook that locks with at least one locking element of the filter housing for blocking pivoting of the cabin air filter relative to the filter housing at least in a first direction about the pivot axis.
Conditioning device for recreational vehicle ventilation intakes
A conditioning device for a ventilation intake, the conditioning device having a frame with a mounting side, an access side, and a plurality of walls coupled between the mounting side and the access side. The mounting side defines a ventilation intake opening that is configured to receive at least a portion of the ventilation intake. The access side defines an access opening. An access panel has coupling features for removably coupling the access panel to the frame, where the access opening of the frame is accessible when the access panel is removed from the frame. The conditioning device is configured to cover the ventilation intake. At least one inlet is defined within at least one of the frame and the access panel and air enters the conditioning device through the at least one inlet.
Filter cover structure of drawer-type air cleaner for vehicles, air cleaner, intake system, and vehicle including the same
A filter cover structure of a drawer-type air cleaner is provided. The structure includes a main body in which an air filter reception part is formed and a filter cover provided to open or close the air filter reception part. The filter cover includes a lever configured to be locked to or released from a filter cover fastening part of the air filter reception part by rotating the lever around a rotating shaft.
Cabin Air Filter Tray
A tray for holding a cabin air filter that filters airflow entering a vehicle passenger cabin. The tray includes a frame configured to hold the cabin air filter. A retention member includes a first end attached to the frame and a second end configured to be anchored at a mounting location in a vehicle. When the frame is moved away from the mounting location, the retention member is tensioned to (i) guide and pull the flexible frame towards the mounting location and/or (ii) hold the flexible frame at the mounting location.
FILTER-DEGRADATION ESTIMATING DEVICE FOR VEHICULAR AIR CONDITIONER
A filter monitoring system for a filter in a vehicle air conditioner includes a first temperature sensor to detect an air temperature of intake air drawn into an air conditioner case through the filter, a second temperature sensor to detect an evaporator temperature of the evaporator, and a processor coupled to the first and second temperature sensors and coupled to a memory. The processor is configured to calculate an actual change-rate of the evaporator temperature while a compressor is in operation, calculate an expected change-rate of the evaporator temperature based on the air temperature and operation levels of a blower and the compressor by using predetermined data with a properly functioning filter, calculate a degradation degree of the filter by comparing the actual change-rate to the expected change-rate, and output a signal indicating degradation of the filter upon determining that the degradation degree is out of an acceptable range.
Connection Arrangement for Fixing a Lid of an Air Filter Device of a Motor Vehicle to a Filter Housing and to a Filter Element and an Associated Filter Element
A connection arrangement for fixing a lid to a filter housing and to a filter element, by which an insertion opening in the filter housing can be closed, includes a holding element on the filter element and a locking element on the lid. The holding element can be fixed by a contact surface for contacting the locking element in a recess of the filter housing. The holding element has a latching geometry with which it can be latched in the recess of the filter housing. The locking element is a shaft with a bolt rod and a handle part. The shaft is guided through the lid such that the lid and the filter element in the latching position can, by the bolt rod and a contact surface formed as a ramp on the holding element, which engage with one another by turning the locking element, be spanned against each other.
Vehicle body structure
A vehicle body structure includes a wall and a removable panel. The wall has a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The wall defines a vent opening with a peripheral edge extending between the first surface and the second surface. The wall includes an air vent structure open to the vent opening. The removable panel has a trim surface and an attachment surface with a plurality of air vent slots extending from the attachment surface to the trim surface. The attachment surface has a retaining structure configured to retain an air filter along the attachment surface and an attachment structure configured to attach to the wall covering the vent opening with the retaining structure extending at least partially within the air vent structure.
