Touch control vehicle seat and vehicle-mounted entertainment system
A vehicle seat with touch control function includes a seat armrest, the seat armrest includes an armrest frame, a flexible pad, a flexible touch panel, and a protective cover. The flexible touch panel is elastic, and the flexible touch panel includes a flexible substrate and a carbon nanotube touch function layer to collect touch input from a user. Such flexible touch panel may be installed on or in armrest of any seat in vehicle, enabling control of a display while comfortably seated, having to lean forward is avoided. A vehicle-mounted entertainment system incorporating such touch control system is also provided.
Pivoting cable actuating mechanism
A cable actuating mechanism that actuates through a central pivot axis of a pivoting mechanism including two articulating cable actuators that contact opposing ends of a floating pin that passes through the center of the pivot. One actuator is affixed to a stationary assembly of the pivot device and the other actuator is affixed to a rotating body of the device. A first cable pulled at one end of the device pulls a second cable at an opposing end of the device through the articulating cable actuators. The cable actuating mechanism can be used to unlock a seat recline lock device in an aircraft seat equipped with a pivoting armrest, among other applications.
DEFORMATION DETECTING DEVICE COMPRISING A MULTI-FUNCTIONAL FABRIC WITH FLOCKED CONDUCTIVE WEFT YARNS
A deformation detecting device includes weft yarns and warp yarns woven together. At least some of the weft yarns, or some weft yarns, and some warp yarns, are electrically conductive. The weft yarns include a flocking made up of non-electrically conductive fibers protruding substantially radially from the weft yarns. The electrically conductive yarns are connected to conductive ends for applying an electrical voltage, such that yarns that are connected to conductive ends with different polarities define respective plates of a capacitive sensor, while the fibers of the flocking of the weft yarns define a dielectric material interposed between the capacitive sensor plates. The device comprises an electronic control and processing unit configured to detect a deformation of the fabric based on a capacitance variation of the capacitive sensor.
Control elements in an armrest device
Armrest device for utility vehicle seats, wherein the armrest device has a plurality of first control elements and at least one second control element, wherein by means of selecting and actuating one of the first control elements which is arranged on an upper surface of the armrest device, seen in a height direction, a vehicle function can be assigned to the selected first control element and by means of actuating the second control element, which is arranged on a side surface of the armrest device and is connected at least by means of a signal to the selected first control element, the vehicle function is adjustable.
COCKPIT SEAT ARMREST AVIONICS CURSOR CONTROL DEVICE
The invention concerns an improved CCD integration within pilot seat armrests, with benefits including ease and accuracy of CCD use, premium space savings on cockpit consoles, the ability to be retracted when not in use, always remaining within comfortable and easy reach of tall and short pilots alike and not interfering with other devices such as side-stick flight controls. The compactness and accuracy of use of the invention, its ability to be stowed, and its space-saving features set this CCD apart from existing CCDs and improve cockpit structure and pilot operation of aircraft that employ this invention.
Vehicle stop apparatus
A vehicle stop apparatus includes a brake, an operation switch, and a controller. The brake stops a vehicle. The operation switch is provided at a location that allows the operation switch to be operable by a seated occupant of the vehicle with an upper limb of the occupant. The controller controls activation of the brake. The controller performs the activation of the brake in response to an input received by the operation switch, and thereby causes the brake to stop the vehicle.
ARMREST MODULE WITH HUMAN-MACHINE INTERFACE FOR VEHICLE SEAT
An armrest module for a motor vehicle. The armrest module includes an armrest arm able to support the arm of an occupant of the motor vehicle, the armrest arm extending primarily in a longitudinal direction (X); a pad, the pad being pivotable relative to the armrest arm about two axes (A1, A2) which are perpendicular to each other, the two axes (A1, A2) also being perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (X) of the armrest arm; and a human-machine interface provided by the pad.
Airplane seat with an adjustable device
The invention relates to an aircraft seat comprising an adjusting device, the aircraft seat comprising at least one adjustable seat element. The seat element has an adjustable state and a locked state, the seat element being adjustable by means of manual force application and/or force application by a spring element and/or force application due to the weight of parts of the aircraft seat only in the adjustable state. The adjusting device comprises at least one control element and at least one locking element, the locking element being movable by means of the control element between a locking position in which the seat element is locked, and a neutral position in which the seat element is adjustable. The control element is an electronic and/or electric switch, and the locking element can be moved between the locking position and the neutral position by means of an electrically operated actuator which can be actuated by means of signals from the switch.
Vehicle Attachable Shielding Device
A vehicle attachable shielding device for protecting a vehicle control assembly from moisture damage includes a shell that defines an interior space. A first penetration is positioned in a bottom of the shell and defines a rim. The first penetration is configured to insert a control assembly of the vehicle into the interior space. A coupler is coupled to the rim and is configured to couple to an interior surface of a vehicle. A second penetration is positioned in a top of the shell. A panel, which is coupled to the shell, is positioned to selectively couple to the shell to close the second penetration. The shell and the panel are configured to protect the control assembly from moisture damage. The panel is positioned to selectively decouple from the shell so that the second penetration is configured to insert a hand of a user to manipulate the control assembly.
VEHICLE SEAT ASSEMBLY
A seat assembly is provided herein. The seat assembly includes a seat member having a support surface. A pair of seat member bolsters is disposed on opposing sides of the seat member. A seat base supports the seat member and has a wraparound sidewall that extends above a bottom portion of each seat member bolster.
