Feedback by modifying stiffness
A system for modifying a stiffness of at least a portion of a vehicle component includes one or more devices coupled to the vehicle component and a processor coupled to the one or more devices. The processor is configured to determine that a software application has switched from a first mode to a second mode and cause the one or more devices to modify the stiffness of the at least a portion of the vehicle component from a first stiffness associated with the first mode to a second stiffness associated with the second mode.
Cab system for a vehicle
Systems and apparatuses include a cab floor defining a center plane, a seat slide actuator coupled to the cab floor and selectively moveable in a direction transverse to the center plane relative to the cab floor, and a seat supported by the seat slide actuator and moveable therewith.
Furniture accessory including power interfaces
A furniture accessory includes an armrest body and an insertion plate moveably coupled to the armrest body and configured for mounting to a furniture item. The furniture accessory may include a power output assembly for receiving and providing power to a detachable electrical accessory. The furniture accessory may include a power input interface and a power supply circuit for providing power from an external power source to the power output interface.
CONSTRUCTION MACHINE
A left console device (13) positioned on an entrance passage (9A)-side is provided with a support shaft (15) disposed on a seat base (11), and a rotational frame (17) rotatably supported by the support shaft (15). A gate lock lever (25) is provided with a base plate (25A) that is rotatably supported via a first shaft body (17D) on the rotational frame (17) and in which a second shaft body (25D) is disposed, and a lever member (25B) that is provided with a gripping part (25E) and is disposed to be integral with the base plate (25A). A guide plate (26) is rotatably attached to a seat base (11). A guide groove (27) disposed on the guide plate (26) restricts a movement of the second shaft body (25D) to suppress a change in a height position of the gripping pin (25E) of the lever member (25B) when the rotational frame (17) rotates centering on the support shaft (15) together with the gate lock lever (25).
HAPTIC SYSTEM: RECLINE ACTIVATION CONTROL
An electronically-activated support positioning system for a passenger seat can include a sensor capable of detecting a tactile input from a passenger and sending a signal, optionally through a controller, to a lock actuator coupled to a lockable hydraulic spring to either lock or unlock the lockable hydraulic spring. The lockable hydraulic spring can control movement of a support of the passenger seat, such as reclining of a seatback. In an example, when tactile input is detected, the lock actuator can unlock the lockable hydraulic spring, allowing an attached seatback to be adjusted. When tactile input is no longer detected, the lock actuator can lock the lockable hydraulic spring, securing the seatback from adjustment. The sensor can be sufficiently small to fit within the confines of an armrest. The sensor can be a microswitch positioned to detect deflection of a tab formed in the wall of the armrest.
WORK VEHICLE
A work vehicle includes a console box disposed to a side of an operator's seat, and a support including a rotational axis disposed in a left and right direction below the console box. The console box is configured to be rotatable in a forth and back direction. The support rotatably supports the console box around the rotational axis and between an operating position in which the console box is horizontally disposed and a retracted position in which the console box is inclined at a position in which the console box has been rotated rearward from the operating position. A spacing in a horizontal direction between front and rear ends of the console box disposed in the retracted position is less than a spacing in the horizontal direction between front and rear ends of the console box disposed in the operating position.
System for securing an aircraft door
Systems and methods for securing an emergency exit door on an armrest of a seat are provided. A system includes a latch connected to an armrest of a seat of a vehicle. The latch is moveable relative to the armrest between a stowed position and a deployed position. The latch is structured and arranged to engage an edge of a door that is associated with an exit of the vehicle to hold the door on the armrest.
Lighted cup holder for seating arrangements
A method and apparatus include attaching a lighted cup holder to a seating arrangement. The lighted cup holder includes a cup holder body and a light-producing light source, with the cup holder body being attached to the seating arrangement and having a cup receptacle therein, the light-producing source being disposed within the cup receptacle for illuminating the receptacle. A light-sensitive element operatively connected to the light source selectively controls production of light by the light source in such a manner that illumination of the cup holder is provided only under conditions where visibility is reduced to the point that it becomes difficult to locate the cup holder. The light-sensitive element is mounted on a master lighted cup holder and controls illumination of the master lighted cup holder and one or more slave lighted cup holders operatively connected to the master lighted cup holder.

WORKING MACHINE
A working machine includes a machine body; an operator's seat mounted on the machine body; a console disposed beside the operator's seat; and a communication device disposed inside the console. Furthermore, the console includes a first side wall portion located beside the operator's seat and a second side wall portion provided beside the first side wall portion with a gap interposed therebetween on a side opposite to the operator's seat, and the communication device is disposed between the first side wall portion and the second side wall portion so as to be located closer to the second side wall portion.
