Grease composition and rolling bearing
There is provided a grease composition for improving the chemical stability of the grease composition and increasing the fatigue life of a member in which the grease composition is used. The problems can be solved by a grease composition including a poly--olefin; a urea-based thickener; molybdenum dithiophosphate; and barium sulfonate, wherein a difference between an SP value of the urea-based thickener and an SP value of the poly--olefin is 3.5 or less.
LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION FOR CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
A lubricating oil composition for a continuously variable transmission including: (A) a lubricant base oil; (B) a borate ester compound in an amount of 25 to 500 mass ppm in terms of boron on the basis of the total mass of the composition; (C) phosphoric acid in an amount of 100 to 750 mass ppm in terms of phosphorus on the basis of the total mass of the composition; (D) a poly(meth)acrylate having a weight average molecular weight of no more than 100,000, wherein the lubricating oil composition has a kinematic viscosity at 40 C. of no more than 25 mm.sup.2/s.
Lubricant composition, use thereof and aliphatic ether compound
The present invention provides a lubricant composition having high moisture resistance and having physical properties including low viscosity, low evaporability, low-temperature fluidity, and a high viscosity index. The lubricant composition contains (i) an aliphatic ether compound as a base oil and (ii) an antioxidant made from at least alkylated phenylnaphthylamine and phosphite ester, wherein a sum of individual amounts of the alkylated phenylnaphthylamine and the phosphite ester is a predetermined amount, and the alkylated phenylnaphthylamine and the phosphite ester are used in a predetermined ratio.
Lubricant composition with phosphorus-functionalized polymers
The present invention relates to a lubricant composition comprising at least one polyalkyl(meth)acrylate including repeating units derived from (meth)acrylates having 6 to 22 carbon atoms in the alcohol radical, wherein the polyalkyl(meth)acrylate includes repeating units derived from ethylenically unsaturated monomers having at least one covalently bonded phosphorus atom. The present invention further relates to a polyalkyl(meth)acrylate suitable for such a lubricant composition and to the use of a polyalkyl(meth)acrylate having repeating units derived from ethylenically unsaturated monomers having at least one covalently bonded phosphorus atom for reducing friction.
Corrosion-protection system for treating metal surfaces
The present invention relates to a corrosion-protection system suitable for producing aqueous metal treatment and metal processing fluids, particularly corrosion-protection, cleaning and cooling lubricant emulsions. The corrosion-protection system comprises carbonic and/or phosphonic acids, as well as at least one amine with at least one oxybis(alkylamine) unit. Such corrosion-protection systems effectively protect metal surfaces from corrosion and have a high level of water solubility, which is essential for formulating aqueous concentrates for metal treatment and metal processing fluids. The present invention further relates to an aqueous surface-active and corrosion-protecting preparation containing the corrosion protection system and an emulsifier system, as well as an oil-containing water-miscible emulsion concentrate, which supplies the ready-to-use corrosion-protection, cleaning and cooling lubricant emulsions by dilution with water.
COMPOSITION OF CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION OIL FOR IMPROVING FUEL EFFICIENCY AND ENDURANCE PERFORMANCE
Disclosed is a composition of continuously variable transmission oil for improving fuel efficiency and endurance performance. Provided herein is a novel composition of continuously variable transmission oil that can improve fuel efficiency through reduction of fluid resistance by decreasing viscosity at a low temperature, and can enhance endurance performance of the transmission by increasing the viscosity at a high temperature. Provided herein is a continuously variable transmission oil composition containing a predetermined amount of olefin amide comb PMA as a viscosity adjusting agent in a base oil having a pour point of 40 C. or less, in addition to additives.
